Overview

Responsible for leading and directing 2 commercialization areas at Nissin USA:

1)            Project Management: the portfolio management of all innovation, renovation, cost-savings and compliance projects including staffing, planning, reporting, process development and execution. Directs the efforts of project managers and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other business functions to ensure project delivery. Identifies process improvements and builds best practices.

2)            Creative Services: the planning, development and implementation of all printed materials featuring graphics including, but not limited to: packaging, displays, coupons and signage. Directs the efforts and manages all external agencies and business partners working in collaboration with marketing, sales and purchasing to deliver materials in support of the business.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Directs resources to lead and manage cross-functional teams in execution of concurrent commercialization projects using expertise in project management tools and processes.
  • Leads the integration of cross-functional activities into cohesive project plans that drive business results. This includes defining the process for project team meetings, the risk management process, and the tracking and reporting of the project portfolio across the functions and to leadership.
  • Builds and maintains systems and tools to facilitate effective, efficient cross-functional collaboration, tracking and reporting for project teams and portfolio management.
  • Identifies and recommends change management opportunities across all functions to improve project management process.
  • Establishes KPI’s to measure performance in project management capabilities, activities and results.

 

Creative Services

  • Directs resources in the planning, development and implementation of all printed materials featuring graphics that support our commercialization efforts. These resources can include internal cross-functional teams that manage printed materials development as well as external business partners.
  • Leads process development to drive efficient, effective delivery of printed materials that support our commercialization efforts.
  • Ensures business partner relationships in support of printed materials creation is defined, managed and delivered to provide at an optimized quality and cost for our commercialization needs.
  • Builds internal systems to support creating, approving and archiving all printed materials in support of our commercialization efforts.
  • Identifies and acts upon change management opportunities to improve process for printed materials delivery across all functions including Purchasing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and R&D.
  • Establishes KPI’s to measure performance in delivery of printed materials to support our commercialization efforts.

 

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Demonstrates ability to work with, lead and support cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates ability to make recommendations and address situations with upper management.
  • Defines, staffs and leads a project management team that contributes to a work environment that fosters professionalism, mutual respect, teamwork and collaboration.
  • Partners with VP of Marketing to establish clarity in roles and responsibilities across functions and defines the role of the project management function in order to build a high performance cross-functional culture.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years’ relevant business experience preferably in a project management and/or graphic services role within the CPG industry.
  • Proven experience managing a cross-functional projects and team leadership.
  • Must have exceedingly strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills. We are most interested in candidates. exhibiting a passion for team leadership, details, solving problems, simplicity, quality, and moving quickly.
