Provide strategic, operational and administrative leadership to the plant by proposing and executing operational plans to meet diversified various needs quickly and effectively. Ensure necessary resources (people, equipment, materials and methods) by stably supplying these in a systematic and structured way.  


The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability – with or without reasonable accommodation – to perform the following duties but not limited to:


  • Monitors plant operations for two (2) plants in CA and PA for production, maintenance, quality, safety, human resources and receiving.
  • Take a leadership role to achieve the overall organizational and financial objectives by setting, and controlling budgets, targets, providing regular reports on progress to the Manufacturing manager, highlighting variances from these.
  • Develops and controls profits, plans and budget including cost analysis.
  • Establishes and maintains people development program and systems including career advancement system.
  • Develops mid-term plant operations plan.
  • Develops and implements cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
  • Researches information required to comply with new/updated regulations including reviewing relevant company policies and current practices for the purpose of ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Involves with social responsibility activities by researching information related to practices, processes, products and procedures are ethical, sustainable and environmentally friendly.
  • Optimizes existing plant facilities and equipment; replaces, makes adjustments or install new equipment/machines to plant facilities and equipment in order to increase plant operational capacity.
  • Develops a new manufacturing plant planning.
  • Works with related departments cross functionally to assist planned manufacturing activities been executed smoothly.



  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition or related fields or five (5) years related plant management experience in the food industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access).
  • Must be able to accept both domestic and international assignments as the company requires.
  • Fluent communication in both English and Japanese is preferred.
